Architecture foundation: 100 Day Studio

Jeremy makes the fundamental argument behind the project Architecture after Architecture: that the demands of the climate emergency make some of the founding principles of architecture untenable.

Architecture in the modern project has been symbol and carrier of progress and growth, as described by neoliberal economics. These are also terms that have fuelled the climate emergency, so if they need to be redescribed in the light of the crisis, and the associated conditions thrown up by COVID 19, then where does this leave architecture?

The 100 Day Studio was a series of online lectures, interviews, building tours and panel discussions organised by The Architecture Foundation which took place for 100 weekdays from April 6th to August 27th in 2020.
